Board the shuttle

The tunnel connection between Calais and Folkestone, called "Le Shuttle," allows you to reach England in about 35 minutes. You drive to Calais, load your car onto the train ("Shuttle"), and about half an hour later, you'll be in Folkestone. All customs formalities are completed in Calais (don't forget your ID). It couldn't be simpler.

Upon arrival in Folkestone, you can unload your car from the train and continue on your way. Direct motorway-to-motorway access allows you to enjoy the beautiful county of Kent without delay. Without leaving your car, you'll enjoy this simple and convenient service with departures up to four times per hour. The ticket covers the vehicle and up to nine passengers, and special offers are available throughout the year.

Upon arrival in Folkestone, simply exit the shuttle and find yourself on the motorway, ready to begin your journey through the Garden of England. You'll love Folkestone for its innovative culture, but you can also take a short trip to Dover to discover the history of this iconic coastline. Shops, cafes, information points, and rest areas await you at the Folkestone and Calais terminals to ensure a comfortable journey.

Cars equipped with an LPG installation are not permitted on board the Shuttle.

Reservations for the Shuttle are available from this link. Tickets include the car and up to 9 passengers
